Challa Vijaya Kumar PhD

Challa Vijaya Kumar, Ph.D., is a professor of chemistry at the University of Connecticut. Prof. Kumar's research interest is in the production of functional materials that are biodegradable. He is also interested in using chemical reactions to transform these materials into something that people can benefit from, such as biofuel cell-based power. He had received his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He specialized in chemistry and photochemistry.
