Charles Chapron MD

Professor Chapron graduated from Lille University of Medicine in 1991 and was named a University Professor in Paris in 1999. Since 2005 Professor Chapron is the head of department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology II and Reproductive Medicine at Cochin University Hospital.

He is the coordinator of the teaching programme of obstetrics and gynaecology at Cochin Port-Royal Faculty of Medicine, chairman of one University diplomas, Director of 20 medical thesis, and has authored and co-authored almost 300 peer-reviewed papers in national (103 publications) and international (195 publications) scientific journals concerning surgical laparoscopy in gynaecology, reproductive medicine, and endometriosis, and has delivered more than 650 scientific presentations in national (295) and international (372) meetings.
