Charles F. Mahl MD, FACS, FICS

Charles F. Mahl M.D. is a physician/surgeon who specializes in the practice of Regenerative Medicine which includes prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma injections and stem cells for pain management of musculoskeletal conditions in Coral Gables, Florida. This field is sometimes called non-surgical orthopedics or regenerative orthopedics. Dr Mahl was mentored in the art and science of Prolotherapy, Regenerative Medicine and Non-surgical Orthopedics for 3 years by Dr Alvin Stein, one of the foremost proltherapists and well respected orthopedists in the United States. Dr Mahl furthered his training in Regenerative Medicine through Regenestem and the Global Stem Cells Group, two international companies for which he now serves on their Advisory Boards. Dr Mahl now lectures, teaches and trains other physicians throughout the world in Regenerative Medicine and stem cell procedures from peripheral blood, bone marrow and adipose tissues. He is an active member of the Interventional Orthopedic Foundation, participating in the Wounded Warriors Program for soldiers and veterans. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM) , participating in their medical missions and The American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine (AOAPRM), lecturing and proctoring other physicians in Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Mahl is a member of numerous other professional organizations within the fields of pain management, regenerative medicine and anti-aging medicine.
