Charlotte Cordonnier, MD is a Professor of Neurology at the Lille University Hospital, France, where she heads the Department of Neurology and Stroke Centre. Appointed as Professor of Neurology at the Lille University (France) in 2012, she is a member of Prof. Didier Leys' team and she is the head of the neurovascular intensive care unit at the Lille University Hospital. She is also directing the Telestroke network. During her training, she did a clinical fellowship with Prof. Jean-Louis Mas in Paris and then did a research fellowship in Amsterdam with Prof. Philip Scheltens and in Edinburgh with Profs. Charles Warlow and Rustam Al-Shahi Salman. Her research interests are intracerebral hemorrhages (including microbleeds) both in the setting of stroke and dementia. She is the director of the Lille Haemorrhagic Stroke research program based in the INSERM U 1171 team in France. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Stroke Organization and chairs its Education Committee.
