Christiane Querfeld MD, PhD

Christiane Querfeld, M.D. is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous lymphoma, a rare form of lymphoma which first appears on the skin but can also spread to lymph nodes and internal organs (City of Hope is one of the few institutions in the country that currently offer clinical trials available to help treat cutaneous lymphomas.)
Dr. Querfeld received her medical degree at the University of Cologne and a Ph.D. at the University of Heidelberg. She then received additional training at Johns Hopkins University, University of Chicago and Northwestern University, specializing in dermatopathology and cutaneous lymphoma diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Querfeld worked in the dermatology department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City before joining City of Hope’s.
