Dr. Delaney is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist specializing in stem cell transplantation, with particular expertise in umbilical cord blood transplantation. Dr. Delaney is an associate member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) Clinical Research Division and an associate professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
She is an attending physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH) and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), and she established and is the director of the Cord Blood Transplant Program at the FHCRC/SCCA.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in 1989, master's degree from Oxford University in 1991, and M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1996. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at University of California, San Francisco in 1999 and fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at FHCRC/SCH
