Cynthia Gutierrez PharmD, MS, BCPP

Dr. Gutierrez graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas College of Pharmacy in May 2001. She then spent two years completing a Master of Science in Pharmacy in conjunction with an ASHP accredited Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency under the mentorship of Dr. Larry Ereshefsky. In November 2003, she accepted a position at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Psychiatry. She served as Program Director for the PGY2 Residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy from 2003 until 2013. Today, Dr. Gutierrez continues to work at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System as the Clinical Pharmacy Program Manager in Mental Health and serves VA Clinical Pharmacy Program Office nationally as co-leader of the Mental Health Subject Matter Expert Workgroup.
