Daniel Terveen

Dr. Terveen is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for his patients. He is constantly challenging the status quo which has led to several prestigious awards in research and patient care.

Dr. Daniel Terveen is a fellowship-trained eye surgeon who specializes in refractive cataract surgery, advanced corneal disease treatments, glaucoma care, and laser vision correction. Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Terveen has established a reputation of excellence that he carries into every interaction with patients.

Dr. Terveen has always been drawn to solving complex problems, which is how he has gained particular skills in caring for patients with the most challenging cornea, glaucoma, and cataract troubles.

He is also a dedicated advocate for improvements in care for all patients. While completing his ophthalmology training at the University of Iowa, he won the Lisa and Amir Arbisser Top Resident Award and worked to enhance the quality of eye surgery at the Iowa City Veterans Administration Hospital.
