David Duncan MD, MBA

Dr David C. Duncan received a bachelor of science in biology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and his doctorate in medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his internal medicine residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and his MBA at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. Duncan is the senior physician advisor and medical director at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. He was previously the associate program director for Georgetown University's internal medicine residency. In addition, he was the first internal medicine hospitalist hired and established the hospitalist program at the same hospital. Duncan received the Clinical Faculty Award for outstanding clinical teaching to residents and students and the Lams Clinical Quality Award for process improvement.
