David J. Deehan MD, MSc, FRCS

Professor Deehan has an MD in surgical immunology and became a knee fellow (NSOSM) in Sydney in1999. He was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Knee Surgeon for the Newcastle Hospitals in 2000 and acquired an MSc in bioengineering.Professor Deehan is Co-Director / Founder of the Newcastle Surgical Training Centre and became an Honorary Professor of University of Newcastle in 2009.
