For over twenty years, Dr. David Simons has been actively involved in his community. He has been recognized by the S. June Smith Center of Lancaster for volunteerism and he is the founder of the Dream Ride for Lancaster County, an annual bicycling event, which raises funds for local charities.
In his service as the president of both Community Anesthesia Associates and the medical staff at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, he is continuously recognized by patients for his attention to their overall health concerns. Dr. Simons is actively involved in the education and training of medical interns and residents at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and he is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Pain Management. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
Dr. Simons is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and he earned his medical degree (D.O.) from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. William West serves on the medical staff, and is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. He is actively involved in many professional organizations including the Society for Pain Practice Management and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Dr. West's dedication to the practice of pain management is evidenced by his continuing education in the field of Acupuncture for which he received his certification from UCLA. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and his work has been published in numerous medical journals.
