David L. Hill MD, FAAP

David Hill, MD, FAAP is a pediatrician at Goldsboro Pediatrics, adjunct assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Communications and Media (shopAAP). He also serves as Associate Editor of Caring for Your Baby and Young Child: Birth to Age 5 and as Associate Editor of Pediatric Care Online Pediatric Patient Education. Dr. Hill lectures nationally and internationally and appears in multiple media outlets, including CNN and Fox News.

Dr. Hill graduated from Rice University and attended medical school at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School before completing a combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the UNC School of Medicine. He practices at Goldsboro Pediatrics in Goldsboro, NC and lives in Wilmington, with his wife. He has three children and two stepchildren. For fun he runs, bikes, and surfs.
