Denise Howard MD, MPH

Dr. Denise Howard is the Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Vice Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her practice area is Gynecology and Gynecologic surgery, but she also has extensive experience in acute obstetric care and quality improvement. She has served in leadership roles in academic, private, and international settings. She received her MD, and MPH from Johns Hopkins, completed her residency at UPMC-Magee Women's Hospital, and fellowship at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Howard received the CPE designation in 2012 and served on the Editorial Board for the Physician Leadership Journal from 2016-2020. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership, the Society for Gynecologic Surgeons, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
