Didier Blaise Didier Blaise has directed the program in Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular therapy since 1991at Institut Paoli Calmettes, this program being one of the most active in Europe. Furthermore, he maintains his academic appointment as Professor of Medicine at the Aix-Marseille University has been appointed as scientific advisor of the hematology department, Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai, China.
Professor Blaise was a founding member of the Société Française de Greffe de Moelle et de Thérapie Cellulaire (SFGM-TC), is the former president of this society and has served on committees for numerous professional societies and advisory boards in the fields of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation. He is the author or co-author of more than 400 peer reviewed papers and the recipient of many national grants. His research interests focus on clinical transplantation, immunomodulation after allogeneic transplantation, immunotherapy of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, and the economic and social impact of allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
