Dr. Dimitrios Alexopoulos is a Professor of Cardiology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, Attikon University Hospital, and Chief of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He is a Graduate of Athens University Medical School. He was trained in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK, and Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, USA. He became a Faculty member of Patras Univesity, Greece (1990) where he served as a full professor in Cardiology since 2000. Between 2004-2016 served as a Chairman of Cardiology at Patras University Hospital.
