Since 2013 head of the Simple Operating Unit of Prostatic Pathology at the "Federico II" Polyclinic University Hospital, Integrated Care Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urology, Complex Operating Unit of Urology. On 27 July 2005, he was called by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery to fill the role of Associate Professor of Urology at the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecological, Urological and Reproductive Medicine Sciences of the "Federico II" Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Naples. In June 2001 he qualified as Associate Professor of Urology, passing a national competition announced by the University of Cagliari, and currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Urology at the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecological, Urological and Medicine Sciences of Reproduction of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, "Federico II" University of Naples. Since 2001 he has held the position of secretary of International Prostate Health and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Council. He has been an active member of International Prostate Health since 2000 Since 1996 he has cooperated with the International Consultation on Urological diseases, as a member of the commissions of the WHO International Consultation on Prostatic Cancer and BPH (he has been involved as a Committee Member in 1996,197,1999,2000,2002,2005).

In the academic years 1995-96, 1996-97, and 1997-98 he was appointed Professor of "Diagnostics and Therapy in Andrology at the School of Specialization in Urology of the II University of Rome Torvergata. In the academic years 1993-94, 1994-95, and 1995-96 he was appointed Professor of "Physiology of the Urinary Apparatus and Male Genital" in the School of Specialization in Urology of the Faculty of Catanzaro, University of Reggio Calabria. From 1989 to 1995 he was Director of the Endoscopy and Laser Surgery Center at the Mediterranean Clinic of Naples In 1983 he was a Research Guest at the Department of Urology of the Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm directed by Prof. L. Andersson, President of the WHO Oncologic Center for Urological Tumors, carrying out clinical and surgical assistance activities, with a study contribution from the National Council of Searches.
