FemTech, and the intersection of medicine, technology, and innovation to advance women’s health have always been passions of Dr. Hakim’s, and her love of these arenas lead naturally to the co-founding of FemTech Focus, a not-for-profit geared towards empowering women’s health and wellness industry. Dr. Hakim is equally passionate about health promotion and service orientation which she honed from her time as Founder and Director of the Tumaini Children's Project, which is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting Kenyan children affected by HIV/AIDS.
