Dr. Elissa Yozawitz is a Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Yozawitz maintains an outpatient practice at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore where she sees children presenting with a wide range of neurological problems. She received her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in 2005. Dr. Yozawitz's residency training in pediatrics was at Long Island Jewish Medical Center; her residency training in pediatric neurology was at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center where she additionally trained with a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology - EEG track. 

Dr. Yozawitz focuses on the management of neonatal neurology and pediatric epilepsy, particularly children and adolescents with difficult-to-treat seizures. She specializes in a variety of neurological conditions diagnosed in the newborn period, including hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, stroke, and seizures. She has expertise in EEG and advanced medical treatments. She provides care from the neonatal period through adolescence.
