Emily Klompenburg PharmD, BCACP

Dr. Emily Van Klompenburg is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at South Dakota State University with a practice site at the Avera Medical Group-Brookings. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from SDSU, completed a PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency, and is a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. Emily’s primary teaching responsibilities for the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions are Pharmacy Law and precepting students on clinical rotations. Emily also serves as a Captain in the South Dakota Army National Guard and recently returned from a deployment to Djibouti, Africa.
