Frank Stein PhD

Dr. Dr. h.c. Frank Stein is a Senior QA Consultant of Quality & Regulatory Affairs Management. Frank Stein has been active in medical technology for 25 years with 15 years of experience in quality management and regulatory affairs and full-time consultant for 8 years. In addition to his work as a consultant, he is involved in scientific research and holds training in medical technology. He is also a member of several scientific advisory boards. He began his professional career in cardiology surgery at Aachen University Hospital and has worked in this industry since 1999, at the same time participating in scientific research and training within the medical technology industry.

Between 1999 and 2010 he held various positions in weimed GmbH, an engineering office for research, development and approval of ophthalmology and neurology medical devices. Since 2010, he has focused on the approval of medical devices and marginal products for pharmaceuticals and food and also works regularly for the Nemius Group. Its focus is the management of national and international projects for the approval of medical devices within the EU standards, in MDSAP countries, CIS states, BRIGS states and other countries in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. The focus was on products of ophthalmology, implants, active implants and electro-medical devices.
