Funda Yildirim MS, PhD

Dr. Funda Yildirim, MS, Ph.D., is an of Mixed Reality and Cognition at the University of Twente. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University, her Master of Science degree from Middle East Technical University, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Neuroscience from the University of Groningen. Her research involves visual crowding, low-level visual illusions, size perception, and face perception. She studies perception by recording eye movements and tracking the amount of oxygen floating inside the veins around the brain. She likes to recognize subjects from their brains and to meet new people at conferences doing research on things that she never imagined before.
