Gary Gerlacher MD, MBA

Gary Gerlacher is the Vice President of Business Development for PM Pediatrics, responsible for expanding and developing new business models and new markets. Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Gerlacher founded Acute Kids Urgent Care in 2003, which grew to be one of the largest pediatric urgent care networks in the country. He eventually sold Acute Kids to HCA Hospitals in 2012 and began work on setting up Texas Children’s Urgent Care. He sold 2 clinics to Texas Children’s Hospital in 2015 and subsequently helped them develop into one of the largest academic pediatric urgent care networks in the country. He is also a co-founder of Little Star Pediatric Urgent Care in California, as well as co-founder and Managing Partner of MedStop Clinics in east Texas. Dr. Gerlacher received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed both a pediatric residency and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital. He has also earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
