Dr. Badger is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston and Program Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program and Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a consultant to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is Past President of the Board. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, College of Diplomates, Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Society, and the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Badger has served in the U.S. Army and retired as a full Colonel. During his military career , he was appointed the consultant to the US Army Surgeon General in Pediatric Dentistry (twice) and the Consultant in Pediatric Dentistry for the US Army-Europe Commanding General. In Texas, he was employed by the Scott & White health care system as a pediatric dentist for six years and then started his private practice in College Station, TX for thirteen years. He has been at the University of Texas School of Dentistry for five years and has previously taught at University of Missouri at Kansas City, The University of Louisville, Ky., the Medical College of Virginia, and the United States Army Pediatric Dentistry Residency.
