Dr. Genevieve Giny Fouda, MD, Ph.D. is an Immunologist interested in pediatric infectious diseases including HIV mother-to-child transmission and malaria. She has a special interest in understanding how immune responses in early life differ from that in adults. Understanding immune responses in early life are key to guiding the development of vaccines targeting pediatric populations. Her current work focuses on HIV mother-to-child transmission.
