Gillian Newstead MD, FACR

Gillian M. Newstead, M.D. was the chief of breast imaging at the University of Chicago and her clinical efforts are directed toward the screening and diagnosis of breast cancer. Dr. Newstead conducts translational research with medical physicists into novel methods of acquisition and quantitative analysis of breast MR, ultrasound, and mammographic images. She is actively involved in research projects connected with multimodal assessment and quantitative analysis of primary tumors and axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer patients.
