Dr. Glenn R. Jacobowitz is a Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NYU Langone Health. As a vascular surgeon, he treats people who require surgery on blood vessels located in any part of the body, including the abdomen, arms, legs, neck, and chest. However, his treatment does not begin and end with surgery. Often, he works with people who have many different conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease, and he establishes ongoing relationships with them to monitor their conditions.
Currently, he is researching new ways to use medications and minimally invasive procedures to treat people who have chronic blockages in their leg and pelvis veins. He is always searching for more effective and less invasive ways to manage conditions, in order to improve his patients’ lives.
