Grant C. Fowler MD, FAAFP

Grant C. Fowler, MD, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Texas Christian University/ University of North Texas Medical School in Fort Worth, Texas. He is also Chair of Family and Community Medicine and Chief of the Primary Care Service line at John Peter Smith (Tarrant County) Hospital. Dr. Fowler is a National Merit Scholar graduate of Rice University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Upon receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Houston McGovern Medical School, he completed his residency at Memorial Family Practice in Houston. After almost eight years as Director of the UT Houston McGovern Family Medicine Residency, Dr. Fowler was Vice Chair for 19 years. Dr. Fowler has served as an invited lecturer at multiple regional and national meetings as well as at multiple institutions.
