Gregg L. Friedman MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with over 30 years experience. Dr Friedman attended the University of Miami on a Merit Scholarship and graduated Valedictorian/ Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry. Gregg L. Friedman MD was awarded a Full Tuition Scholarship to the University of Miami School of Medicine where he was the youngest man in his graduating class. Dr Friedman did his Internship in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai/ UCLA in Beverly Hills, CA. He completed his Residency in Psychiatry at the University of Florida where he was elected Chief Resident in Psychiatry and awarded Resident of the Year. Dr Friedman was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the Univerity of Miami School of Medicine in 1989. He served as the Senior Psychiatric Medical Director at Miami Jewish Health Systems for 12/1989-12/1998. Dr Friedman is the Attending Psychiatrist at Henderson Community Mental Health Center, the largest mental health center in Florida. Dr Friedman has given over 3,500 lectures to physicians in all 50 States, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. He also maintains a busy Private Medical Practice with 3 locations in South Florida.
