Gregory P. Bourgeois MD

Gregory Bourgeois, MD was born and raised in South Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University with honors in Biological Sciences. He obtained his MD from UAB School of Medicine. After completing an Internship in Internal Medicine at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, he returned home for his Dermatology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where he served as Chief Resident. During residency he was awarded an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery preceptorship at SkinCare Physicians in Boston to perform concentrated study in laser and cosmetic dermatology under renowned dermatologists Michael Kaminer, MD, Jeffrey Dover, MD, Kenneth Arndt, MD, and Thomas Rohrer, MD.

He has had research published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Cutis and has presented dermatologic research at numerous academic meetings. Dr. Bourgeois is trained in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with special interest in using lasers to treat a variety of skin conditions and biologics to treat psoriatic disease.
