Heidi Diann Finnes (gunderson) PharmD, BCOP, FHOPA

Heidi D. Finnes is the Senior Manager of Pharmacy Cancer Research at the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center (MCCC) in Rochester, MN, and is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is the Director of the MCCC Pharmacy Shared Resource, which oversees comprehensive pharmacy research services for cancer patients across the Mayo Clinic Enterprise, including Mayo Clinic Rochester, Mayo Clinic Arizona, and Mayo Clinic Florida. She provides input on oncology clinical trials during protocol development, authors drug templates and offers recommendations for therapy and supportive care via a Medication Therapy Management Clinic.

Dr. Finnes obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and her Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy in 2003. Dr. Finnes is a past HOPA Board Member-At-Large and has been active on various HOPA committees. Dr. Finnes is the Chair of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Pharmacy Committee and serves as a member of the NCCN Adult Pain Guideline Panel, NCCN Chemotherapy Order Template Committee, and NCCN Investigational Drug Services Workgroup.
