Henry D. Huang, MD, FACC, FHRS is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Rush University Medical Center and specializes in the field of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Huang received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania and Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. He proceeded to do his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Huang then completed his Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training at Harvard-Thorndike Electrophysiology Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. He served as Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Service at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center from 2015 to 2017.
Dr. Huang has published extensively in the fields of cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. His clinical and research interests include improving safety and efficacy of treatments for atrial fibrillation (Afib), developing novel technologies and treatment techniques for Afib and ventricular arrhythmias, and utilization of 3-dimensional electroanatomic mapping for fluoroless device implantation.
