Hollis Hamilton Floyd after receiving invaluable warmth & empathy during my own experience of therapy felt obliged to give back to others with the same compassion. To assist clients struggling with issues from depression & anxiety to PTSD & Bipolar Disorder she combines an eclectic and collaborative approach rooted in attachment theory with the goal of shifting their experience from survival to one of well-being. She has focused my training to serve survivors of trauma. She uses her training in EMDR therapy and certification as a TC-Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator to help clients process the difficult emotions that follow surviving traumatic experiences. In addition to adults, she provides adolescents & children services drawing upon the experience she gained during the 3 years that she served as the counselor for Greene County Georgia's school district. When not cultivating her therapy practice she can be found playing with her dog Walter, enjoying art & music, practicing yoga, loving horses, gardening, and laughing.
