Ivan Aprahamian MD, MS, PhD, FACP, FISAD, FSCWD

Ivan Aprahamian is a specialist in Internal Medicine (SBCM/AMB), Geriatrics (SBGG/AMB), and Psychiatry (ABP/AMB). He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Jundiaí. Medical Residency in Internal Medicine at the Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo. International fellow, Harvard Medical School, departments of Geriatrics and Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology. Specialization in geriatric psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). He holds a Master's degree in Gerontology from FCM-UNICAMP and a Ph.D. in Psychiatry from FMUSP. He is a Full Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Discipline of Geriatrics at FMUSP. Associate Professor (since 2013) and Head of the Internal Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medicine of Jundiaí (FMJ) (2015-2018). Coordinator of the Residency Program in Geriatrics at FMJ. Affiliate professor in the division of geriatric psychiatry at the University of Groningen. He has proven experience in teaching, management, and research, as well as medical care in specialist areas.
