Iwona Rotter is a professor, habilitated doctor of medical sciences and health sciences, a physician of medical rehabilitation, a specialist in neurology, a certified lipidologist of the Polish Lipidology Society. She heads the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. She completed postgraduate studies in Public Health - Marketing and Management in Healthcare.

She serves as the chairwoman of the Szczecin Branch of the Polish Neurological Society, and is also on the board of the Neurorehabilitation Section of the Polish Neurological Society. She is a member of the Polish Rehabilitation Society and the Polish Lipidology Society. She has completed numerous professional courses, including courses in the field of botulinum toxin treatment in diseases of the nervous system, ultrasonography of the musculoskeletal system of the carotid arteries.

She serves as the proxy of the Rector of the PUM for people with disabilities. She has been awarded many scientific, organizational and didactic prizes of the Rector of the PUM. In 2021, she was awarded the honorary badge of the Minister of Health "For services to health care". She was a representative of the Supreme Medical Council in the Expert Team for the development of an update of the specialization program in the field of medical rehabilitation.

Prof. Iwona Rotter is a consultant physician in the field of neurology at the Primary School of Clinical Hospital No. 2 of the Medical University of Szczecin. She was the supervisor of 5 defended doctoral theses. She is the author and co-author of 219 scientific articles and 8 chapters in monographs.
