Dr. James Scott Bainbridge received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, graduating as an officer of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he served as Co-Chief Resident. Dr. Bainbridge has achieved board certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (1992), the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (1996), and the American Board of Pain Medicine (2010).
Dr. Bainbridge is a spinal injection procedure instructor and has served on the board of directors, for the International Spine Intervention Society. He has been a board examiner for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Clinical Assistant Professor for the School of Pharmacy, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, at the University of Colorado Denver.
Dr. Bainbridge's professional organizational memberships include the International Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He is actively involved in carrying out clinical research.
