Jaap Tolk MD, PhD

Jaap J. Tolk has been trained as an orthopedic surgeon in Maxima MC, MUMC+, and VieCuri. After completing of orthopedic residency in 2019, he has had the opportunity to engage in pediatric orthopedic fellowships in the Netherlands (Maxima MC) and the United Kingdom (the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore). In 2020 he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis ‘expectations and outcome in knee and hip arthroplasty at Erasmus MC. In the summer of 2021, he is working as a consultant pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Erasmus MC – Sophia Children’s Hospital.
