Jahn Thomas Avarello MD, MBA, FAAP, FACEP

Dr. Jahn Avarello is the Regional Medical Director of Florida PM Pediatrics, responsible for leading the development of Florida-based PM Pediatrics locations, ensuring consistency and excellence, overseeing education and training, as well as clinical operations and quality initiatives for future sites in the region. He also serves as Medical Director for PM Pediatrics of Parkland, where he oversees all medical operations for the practice. Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Avarello served as the Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Cohen Children’s Medical Center on Long Island. Dr. Avarello is board certified in both Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. He completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Avarello completed his Pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center (now Cohen Children’s Medical Center). He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Avarello is currently pursuing an MBA at Hofstra University.
