Jamal Ashraf

Jamal Ashraf is the current President of Uttar Pradesh Orthopaedic Association and Secretary-General of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association.

He is Head of Trauma Unit, Department of Orthopedics, UM&TC, Lucknow, India and Joint Director of UM&TC, Lucknow, India. He has a special interest in arthroplasty and trauma. He is primarily involved with the management of polytrauma patients and neglected trauma patients and is part of the Indian study group in fragility fractures. He has several academics honours and organizational posts including President & also Secretary of UPOA and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Trauma Society. He has made several presentations at international conferences and is a member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Asian Pacific Orthopaedic Association, SICOT, AAOS among others.
