James Moses, MD, MPH, Chief Quality Officer and Vice President of Quality and Safety, Boston Medical Center, also serves as Academic Advisor to the IHI Open School, an online worldwide forum that provides interdisciplinary health professional trainees and professionals with the opportunity to learn about quality improvement and patient safety.
Dr. Moses received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his clinical training at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics at both Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Following his residency training, he completed the Pediatric Harvard Health Services Research Fellowship and received a master's of public health in biostatistics and epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Moses also received formal training in QI through IHI's Improvement Advisor program.
