James O’neill MBBS, MRCP

Dr. James O’Neill is a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in Valvular Heart Disease and Echocardiography at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Having completed undergraduate training at Newcastle University in 2008, James undertook junior doctor training in Northumbria and West Yorkshire before going on to complete his cardiology training in the West Yorkshire Deanery.

During this time, he undertook a two-year clinical research fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the Yorkshire Heart Centre and this resulted in an MD awarded by the University of Leeds. He is the Cardiology Clinical Lead for Infective Endocarditis across West Yorkshire.
