Jason Cota is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy and currently serves as the infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at Brooke Army Medical Center. After receiving his M.S. degree, Dr. Cota completed a two-year Specialty Practice Residency in Pharmacotherapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with an emphasis in both infectious diseases and nephrology.

Dr. Cota is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Society for Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the Cochrane Renal Group (CRG). He is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and his areas of interest include clinical mycology, anti-infective dosing in patients with reduced kidney function and the clinical application of translational research in infectious diseases.
