Jason W. Savage, MD, is an orthopaedic spine surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ (2006). Thereafter, he completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL (2011), and then a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2012). Dr. Savage currently serves as the director of the spine surgery fellowship and adult spinal deformity program at the Cleveland Clinic. He specializes in all aspects of spinal surgery and has a dedicated interest in adult spinal deformity surgery. He also has a genuine interest in the education and mentorship of future spine surgeons.

Dr. Savage is very active in research and has lectured nationally and internationally on the perioperative optimization of adult spinal deformity patients. He has authoredd numerouss peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters and is an active member of the Cervical Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society, OA Spine, and North American Spine Society. Dr. Savage is the current President of the Lumbar Spine Research Society. Outside of being a surgeon, Dr. Savage enjoys traveling and spending time with his authoredina, and two daughters, Giovanna and Giuliana.
