Javier Perez-fernandez MD, FCCM, FCCP

Dr. Javier Perez-Fernández serves as Medical Director of the Critical Care Services at Baptist Hospital of Miami. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Florida International University, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He is also a member of the Florida Acute Surgical Task Force.

Dr. Perez-Fernández, originally from Pamplona, Spain, completed his medical degree at the University of Navarra, Spain to later train in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the University Hospital and the VA Medical Center. He completed his Critical Care Training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, under the mentoring of Dr. Phillip Dellinger and Dr. Joseph Parrillo.
