Dr. Gurhlkey, Chief of Staff at Hardeman County Memorial Hospital and Board Certified in Family Practice, was born in Amarillo. He received a degree in chemistry from Texas A&M University before attending medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Dr. Gruhlkey has been trained in a broad scope of medicines and has experience with many of the most modern technologies and techniques. During his three year residency at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston, Dr. Gruhlkey received the Mead Johnson Award for Graduate Education in Family Practice, which is only given to the top 20 family practice residents in the country.
Dr. Gruhlkey is interested in cardiology and cardiovascular medicines, sports medicine, gynecology and emergency medical obstetrics.
