Jean A. Frazier, M.D., is Director of the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Research Program and Co-Director of the Center for Child and Adolescent Development at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), Massachusetts. She is also Director of Child Psychopharmacology at CHA and is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She received her Medical Degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH, in 1987. She then completed her internship and residency in psychiatry at Tufts-New England Medical Center, and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Bradley/Rhode Island Hospitals, Brown University. Before coming to Boston, Dr. Frazier completed a research fellowship in the Child Psychiatry Branch of the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, MD, where she focused on the treatment and neurobiology of childhood-onset schizophrenia. She served as Director of the Child Psychiatry Outpatient Program at McLean Hospital for 6 years prior to joining CHA.
