Jeffrey W. Andrey MD

Jeffrey Andrey, MD, is a hematologist and oncologist with expertise in blood and marrow transplantation and blood coagulation. He treats cancers of the blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes, as well as many non-malignant blood disorders, such as deep venous thrombosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, von Willebrand disease, hemophilia and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). In addition to his clinical practice, he participates in clinical trials for supportive care practices in transplantation and some treatments for non-malignant blood disorders.

Dr. Andrey is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostatis. He is also the director of the Unrelated Donor Transplantation Program at Scripps and an instructor for the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Training Program.
