Dr. Jeffrey Weinstein is an infectious disease and AIDS care specialist in Dayton, Ohio. Originally from New Jersey, he attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston before completing an internal medicine residency at Duke University and infectious diseases fellowship training at Yale University. Since 1996, Dr. Weinstein has been practicing medicine in Dayton with South Dayton Acute Care Consultants – a multispecialty practice. He is active in teaching and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Dr. Weinstein is the Chief of Internal Medicine at Kettering Medical Center and is the medical director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program there. Dr. Weinstein’s interest in the care of patients with HIV/AIDS dates back to 1991 when he worked in the HIV clinic at Duke University Medical Center with Dr. John Bartlett. In Dayton, he treats patients through his private office and was a long time attending at the Medical Surgical ID Clinic at Miami Valley Hospital, subsequently Five Rivers Health Center. He is now an attending physician at the Equitas Health Medical Center in Dayton. Dr. Weinstein lives in Dayton with his wife Dr. Susan Galbraith. They have two teenage children.
