Jennifer Coppola MS, MA is a marriage and family therapist and a doctoral candidate at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. She has an M.S. in human development from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, and an M.A. in marriage and family therapy from Syracuse University. She currently works in private practice, is completing her dissertation, guest lecturing, and collaborates on research work with her advisor, Assistant Professor Rashmi Gangamma, Ph.D., LMFT.
Her research interests involve understanding connections between attachment styles and experiences of fairness in couples and families. She and Dr. Gangamma work to expand the empirical base of contextual theory, including incorporating social justice and diversity. Clinically, Jennifer uses contextual theory, attachment theory, feminism, and EFT to serve couples and families across all identities.
