Dr. Jeremy McMahon is Currently Working as Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow Dental School. He studied both undergraduate dentistry and medicine in New Zealand where he grew up. After completing his Medical degree in 1991 Mr. McMahon had a one-year internship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia. He subsequently returned to New Zealand for a General surgical training post. In 1994, Mr. McMahon traveled to the West of Scotland and commenced a five-year specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His main clinical interests are head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck. Mr. McMahon has published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, most of which relate to these clinical interests. He has also co-authored three textbook chapters, contributed to UK clinical guideline development for the management of head and neck cancer, and presented at many clinical symposia and conferences.
