Dr. Jing Christine Ye is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist at Michigan Medicine who specializes in treating patients with plasma cell dyscrasia (including multiple myeloma, Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, and amyloidosis) and CLL/SLL diseases. She serves as the Co-Chair for the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium Multiple Myeloma Working Group, Vice Chair for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Southwestern Oncology Group (SWOG) Multiple Myeloma Committee, American Society for Hematology (ASH) Research Collaborative Multiple Myeloma Subcommittee member and The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guideline CLL/SLL panel member.

Dr. Ye’s philosophy of patient care: Cancer is a complex disease. I focus on providing my patients and their families with the most updated medical knowledge and empowering them to understand and make informed decisions about their diseases. My team and I accompany our patients in their treatment journeys so that they can live well.

Dr. Ye is a clinical investigator and translational researcher with expertise in multiple myeloma and CLL/SLL. She conducts clinical trials to bring innovative agents and therapeutic breakthroughs to patient care. She develops and leads multi-institutional investigator-initiated trials and serves as the site principal investigator in clinical trials with the National Cancer Institute and Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Dr. Ye also collaborates with other experts to apply biomarkers such as minimal residual disease (MRD), immune profiling, and genomic alterations, in translational research and clinical applications.
